I'm an 11th grader who is currently majoring in computer graphics. I like swimming, FPS games, and most of all, animating. That's General Shepard from MW2 BTW.

I am happy to say that my dream of making an animation that will reach my own high expectations will come alive...not soon to say, but in due time. What I mean by this is, I think I will finally start on my animation project: City 13. What is it? It is an movie that I am making (As in animating, directing, and doing part of the voice acting) that will be about 60 minutes long. No, I am not some noob to animating, however, I wouldn't call myself a veteran in animating such as our super stars (Like The-Swain and JonnyUtah), but I'd say I have enough experience to pull this thing off. It will be at 22 FPS, part Motion-Tweening and part Frame-by-Frame to give it a nice look, and dynamically drawn. Right now, I can't show you, my anonymous curious reader, that much content, however, I can feed you a "teaser", if you will. It's an assignment I had to make for my computer graphics class, the soldier drawn on it is the main character of this movie, hopefully this will be enough to go (You know, I wounder how this will eventually turn out over time...) Cheers and thanks for peeking. One day you might find out I may get myself on the top 50...you never know...

None of you know me, but that perfectly fine, because I haven't submitted anything. But that will all change in the near...well...far...future. I have been working on my animation on the side from my job that I believe may just be, a promising animation we will see in the future. No, I can not tell you the plot, the true theme, but, I can tell/show you 4 things.

1. The picture you see is a screenshot from the first scene, but believe me when I say, the first scene is boring compared to the second epic half, not to say that the first half isn't funny.

2. Hopefully you guess it in the last sentence, but yes, it is a comedy...a very graphic comedy, no, there will not be dicks, when I say graphic, I mean as in gore, cause everybody loves blood and guts flying every where. :)

3. The title of the animation is called "A Day in the Park". It's not what you think..but it actually is..and is not at the same time. Kinda weird, but bear with me, it is both at the same time.

4. The three character's names (From left to right) are "Mark", "Bill", and "Dave". No, that is NOT Bill from "Left 4 Dead", as much as he resembles him, which he does....a lot... but none the matter. Bill(L4D) was a soldier in the Vietnam War nowadays is an old guy, with a gray beard.

No, this is NOT my first animation, I'm smarted than that to just go and post my first shitty stick figure shit, because I know people hate that. Not just that, but this previous year, in my computer graphics class, I was asked to make an animation. Was decent, but, was very rough and needed more work. And so, what it comes down is, this will be my 5th animation, and also my 2nd serious attempt at one, difference is, this one will not be my first time drawing and I will have way more time that ever before (Because it's not a school project). In case your wondering, the animation will be both frame by frame AND Motion tween. I personally do not like animations that are done with mostly tweens, kinda makes me annoyed, but hey, that's just my personal preference. Also, this animation is at 24 FPS.

So how long will this take? I don't know, 2 months? 3? Possible 4? Why possibly 4? Because this year I'm taking my first Dual Enrollment classes along with my first AP class, Computer Graphics AP, which will drain most of my free time. Until then, keep a look out on the "Artist News" because I'll give another sneak peak once I reach the "second part", trust me, it won't be what you're expecting, seriously.

Cheers,
Roasty

In the near...far...ish...future....
